Herald, who has been with the airline for more than three years, will finish up on 10 July.
His career across the New Zealand aviation and tourism sectors has spanned roles with Philippine Airlines and Cathay Pacific Airways – the latter for 28 years.
‘I have had a fantastic career in travel, since starting as an office junior with Stars Travel in Queen Street a long time ago,’ says Herlad. ‘I wouldn’t have had it any other way, but now looking I’m forward to having some more time for myself and family to enjoy and get involved in a few other activities to keep me busy.’
MH advises that it has commenced the recruitment process for this role and is focused on ensuring a well-managed transition in the meantime.
