The sales manager role comes with new responsibilities and duties including being the main point of contact for and managing the key markets of New Zealand and China specifically. She is already well known to the trade in New Zealand, having been a regular visitor as part of Tourism Fiji roadshows and other activities.
Tubuna’s career began with Raffe Hotels & Resorts at the Gateway Hotel before joining Ahura Resorts 12 years ago at Malolo Island Resort – starting in housekeeping. She then moved to front office coordinating groups and weddings, and was promoted to front office supervisor. In early 2023, personal circumstances led her back to the mainland and Tabuna left Ahura for a short time, but a few months later, a maternity leave position opened up in the Nadi-based reservations team and she rejoined the company. Soon after that, Pau joined sales and marketing as sales executive.
Ahura is the management company operating Fiji’s Malolo Island Resort, and Likuliku Lagoon Resort.
