The company manages a portfolio of villas and offers ‘bare hire’, through to meet and greet services, provisioned breakfasts and even the services of a chef if required.
Stevens, who exhibited at the Tourism Export Council trade show in Auckland last week, says villa stays in Queenstown often suit international travellers who want three days of ‘flop and relax’ in between lodge experiences and outdoor adventures.
‘We are seeing an increase in multi-gen families and also two families travelling together. People can go on holiday and spend quality time with their kids, but also have fun with grown-ups as well.’
Stevens says the prices at MajorDomo villas tend to range between $1,300 and $8,000 per night.
‘We’ve actually refined our portfolio over the last 18 months to make sure all of the properties meet our criteria. We’re also working with product to make sure it is trade ready and trade easy.’
