Envoyage premieres in Santiago

Flight Centre Travel Group’s independent division’s newly launched global brand, Envoyage, premiered its global event, Worldwide 2024, in Santiago last week. A turnout of 300 attendees hailed from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and the USA.

Four days of connection, engagement and inspired discussions were aimed at forging the path ahead for the travel sector.

Envoyage will launch in New Zealand later this year.

In her opening remarks at the event, Envoyage’s global managing director, Danielle Galloway, introduced the event’s theme – For Every Journey – a tie into the new brand’s tagline.

‘When we talk about For Every Journey, we’re not just referring to physical trips. We’re referring to the experiences that expand our horizons, challenge our perspectives, and enrich our lives. That’s the essence of what we aim to embody at Worldwide 2024.’

Galloway explained Envoyage’s origins – “a tapestry woven from various independent brands” – have played a role in crafting the group’s proposition.

‘This foundation enables Envoyage to offer comprehensive support to travel advisors, catering to their needs at every phase of their entrepreneurial journey. Whether newcomers are just launching their own business or seasoned agencies looking to expand their horizons, Envoyage offers a home – a community where growth and adaptation are not just encouraged but celebrated.

‘This is more than a partnership; it’s your forever future,’ Galloway emphasised. She highlighted Envoyage’s commitment to providing a dynamic ecosystem equipped with integrated tools, support systems, products and cutting-edge technology.

‘This approach empowers members to tailor their experience, selecting services that best align with their evolving business needs and adjusting their toolkit as their journey unfolds.’

Niki Davies from xtravel attended Worldwide 2024 and says she ‘loved’
the event.

‘The collaboration and having the suppliers there was really key. It was a good mix of suppliers, Envoyage brand updates and connecting with the global community.’

She also says that the new independent brand is strong and that she looks forward to it coming to the New Zealand market.

‘It’s going to be very powerful by creating a stronger network of travel entrepreneurs.’

Jason Buckley, FCTG Independent NZ GM said Worldwide 2024 was a wonderful opportunity for members to connect and learn.

‘I’ve been overwhelmed with the amazing spirit our community has.’

Buckley thanked the Kiwi members for ‘investing in yourselves and your businesses by attending Worldwide.’
