‘It was a great opportunity to reconnect with the entire NZ Travel Brokers family and supplier partners, after not only enduring a challenging few years but also suffering the loss of our cherished co-founder Steve Lee,’ says Flynn.
‘We were honoured to have Steve’s wife Vicki and one of their sons, John join us as we paid tribute and celebrated Steve, along with all of our broker team who have worked incredibly hard to be sitting where they are today.’
The event included a gala dinner with big award winners including Angela Lester who took home Broker of the Year, and KNL Travel who won Top Multi-Person Brand.
‘We also had a great time celebrating our newcomers to broking, with Dave Leary taking the top spot in that category, and our new Rising Star category won by Sophie Shaw,’ adds Flynn.
Air New Zealand took out Supplier of the Year with NZ’s Frank Gibbons also winning Sales Rep of the Year.
