‘Of course there will be many that will be working elsewhere but this technology enables them to get going again, even if it’s on a part time basis, without the stress of having to commit to contracts that tie them down.
TripFactory head of commercial, Phil Goad, acknowledges that there is still a long way to go when considering long haul travel and its resumption.
‘However, the design of the platform enables domestic, Tasman and Pacific travel to be transacted easily and is a good way for a travel professional to start generating revenue,’ Goad says.
Co-founder Doug Gordon says TripFactory has both a strong current selection of product and a roadmap for the future. ‘We have the ability to connect just about any product supplier to the platform, even if the supplier isn’t overly technical themselves.’
TripFactory is the second investment (the first being Travel-lab) over the Covid period by Dimension 6.
