Envoyage New Zealand manager Jason Buckley also referred to a tough few months recently, noting that ‘unpredictable is now a market condition’.
‘Despite that our sub-broker growth has been outstanding – 52 members in the company now have more than themselves in their business. We have added 36 sub-brokers and 10 agency consultants in the last 12 months. We have a growth mindset and we are here to succeed.’
He notes that in tough times, independent agents are well placed to succeed due to their close connections with their customer base.
‘Those who have continued to nurture and communicate with their customers are in good shape.’
Buckley also emphasises developments to the Envoyage Home Portal, including the product showroom and product showcase.
‘This is the place to go to find out more about preferred suppliers, high yield products and destinations your clients want to travel to.’
Alternative commission runs, increased frequency of supplier payments, and virtual credit solutions are also receiving attention.
Buckley says Envoyage will be working to lift members’ confidence around AI and give more clarity and education around the technology.
