FCTGNZ says that backed by investment in technology, the move brings a new level of choice, value and visibility to New Zealand business travellers.
More than 70% of the group’s corporate customers across FCM and Corporate Traveller are already accessing NDC content through the brands’ self-service online booking tools, with the same offers also available to customers via their travel consultants. Qantas is the first airline partner to offer NDC content through the online booking tools, with Singapore Airlines also set to make NDC content available via the brands’ online booking tools soon.
Angie Forsyth, GM of Corporate Traveller New Zealand says the rollout is already delivering tangible benefits for customers.
‘Our NDC-enabled booking platform delivered more than $5,300 in savings for customers across March and April alone. If clients are booking 20 or more return trans-Tasman trips each year, NDC could save your business between $200 and $1200 a year.’
The integration is also unlocking more competitive pricing for travellers booking flexible fares.
Kelly Thomas, GM of FCM New Zealand says the focus is simple, making business travel easier, smarter, and more valuable. ‘This is about giving our customers more choice, more value, and a smoother journey from search to service. We’re making sure New Zealand businesses can access the best fares and serviceability in market, all in one place.’
