The (real) actor flew Qantas from New Zealand, where he has been filming, to red carpet events around the world for the new Formula 1 movie, QF’s Rebecca Slee revealed, and yes, he got the famous pyjamas, which were also in everyone’s goodie bags at the Auckland function.
Helloworld’s Sarah Hunter spoke of Williment’s nearly 60 years at the forefront of sports travel since it was founded by former All Black Mick Williment in 1967.
Hunter also noted the long list of registrations the tour company is receiving for the upcoming NRL Grand Final, ahead of tickets going on sale at noon Wednesday 2 July and announced an exclusive offer of savings of up to $1,000 pp on packages to Bathurst for bookings made and paid for by 31 July.
Warbirds Over Wanaka will be on sale from 3 July for Easter 2026, while Supercars in Adelaide are happening over a long weekend at the end of November. Tickets for the latter event include concerts by Lenny Kravitz and AC/DC, and getting there will be made easier for NZ fans by the new direct service on Qantas between Auckland and Adelaide.
Packages to the Supercars in Taupo and Christchurch next year are now on sale, as is the All Blacks v Ireland at Soldier Field in Chicago on 1 November.
Hunter says Williment is the only agency selling packages to the Football World Cup 2026 and she predicts prices to skyrocket when the draw is announced.
Finally, the F1 2026 calendar is out now, so if Brad Pitt and his Formula 1 racing comeback movie gets clients inspired, agents can see the dates at williment.co.nz/
