Viking: new ocean cruise dates
Viking has released a number of new dates for ocean cruise itineraries for late 2023 and early 2024, including those that cover Scandinavia, The Mediterranean, Alaska, The Caribbean, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. It has also launched two new combination cruise itineraries in Scandinavia.
‘The new departure dates are for some of our most popular cruise itineraries and provide more choice and certainty for travellers to plan ahead,’ says Michelle Black, managing director of Viking ANZ.
Intra Asia, China flights begin
Domestic airline capacity in China is beginning to recover, with over 30% of its domestic capacity returning in the last two months, according to new analysis from Cirium.
Data from the travel and analytics company shows that domestic capacity has recovered from a peak year-on-year drop of 71% on 24 February 2020 to down just 33% on 22 April 2020.

Asia Now wrapped up with presentations and a Thai dinner at Grasshopper Restaurant central Auckland on Wednesday night. It was the last of six presentations (see TRAVELinc Memo Friday 11 June for a report from the Wellington version).
