Guests who receive their shipboard credit can redeem them for a a spa treatment, premium drinks on board, exploring more with additional shore excursions, laundry services or shopping at the ships’ onboard boutique.

The offer comes at a time when the PONANT Explorations Group is expanding its presence in French Polynesia, bringing together two distinct styles of discovery and offering travellers more opportunities to explore all five of the destination’s archipelagos and beyond – with some sailings reaching Fiji and the Cook Islands.

M/S Paul Gauguin continues to cruise the islands of the Society archipelago as well as the Tuamotus and Marquesas. The arrival of PONANT’s Le Jacques Cartier in French Polynesia this year further expands the group’s offering to remote archipelagos and secluded anchorages such as the Austral and Gambier islands.
