NSW lifts SOE

Destination New South Wales (DNSW) advises that the State of Emergency due to bushfires was lifted earlier this week.

‘Bushfires have affected some of the state’s most popular destinations, but thankfully information direct from the tourism industry reassures us that the majority of the state remains open for business and is ready to receive visitors,’ the organisation says.

‘Much of NSW’s coastline, outback towns and charming regional centres are welcoming tourists, as is the iconic harbour city of Sydney.’ Some impacted regions including the South Coast, North Coast, the Hunter Valley and the Blue Mountains are no longer at risk, with most tourism businesses now open.
