APT Luxury Travel has made an early release of its 2028 Australia collection, giving clients the opportunity to secure its 11-day Kimberley Coastal Expedition ahead of the full programme launch. Available in both directions between Broome and Darwin, the 2028 season marks a new chapter for APT’s Kimberley cruising programme, with all departures operating aboard PONANT’s Le Jacques Cartier.

Purpose-built for expedition cruising, the vessel combines contemporary design with immersive exploration. Accommodating a maximum of 184 guests, Le Jacques Cartier features stylish lounges, multiple dining options, a theatre, a wellness area and a swimming pool, while each stateroom and suite includes a private balcony, allowing guests to take in the Kimberley’s spectacular scenery from the comfort of their accommodation.

Cher Lontok, general manager of product and operations (AU/NZ) says the vessel’s expedition capabilities, design and all-balcony accommodation make it an ideal fit for the destination.

APT’s Kimberley Coastal Expedition showcases the region’s coastlines, gorges, waterfalls and Indigenous cultural sites.

Highlights include zodiac explorations to Horizontal Falls, cruising through King George River, and a traditional Welcome to Country and immersive smoking ceremony, revealing the rich cultural and natural history of the Kimberley.

Prices start from $19,995, with savings of up to $2,600 per couple on offer.
