Six Aussie Specialist agents recently experienced ‘that holiday feeling’ in a seven-night Fraser Coast and Southern Great Barrier Reef famil.

This included stops along the southern end of the Pacific Coast Way, a roadtrip and island adventure, and was hosted by Tourism and Events Queensland, in partnership with Tourism Australia, with flights from Jetstar.

Agents flew direct from AKL to MCY in time for lunch at Bistro C restaurant on the waterfront of Noosa Main Beach, before heading north to Hervey Bay where they took the Sealink Ferry to Kingfisher Bay Resort on K’gari (formerly known as Fraser Island), for the Illumina evening light show and Beauty Spots Tour by day.

The road trip continued along the Pacific Coast Way where they stopped in Bundaberg for lunch at Macadamias Australia, a tasting at Bundaberg Brewed Drinks, coral education at Monsoon Aquatics, and a night in the Glamping tents at Turtle Sands, Mon Repos. The day was topped off by  shared dining with paint and sip for entertainment mid meal at H2O Restaurant and Bar, hosted by Bundaberg Region, Southern Great Barrier Reef.

Agents also had a helicopter trip over the Southern Great Barrier Reef with a fly-over Wistari Reef before landing on Heron Island for a two-night stay.

From Gladstone, they travelled to Yeppoon, dining at Koorana Crocodile Farm hosted by Capricorn Region, Southern Great Barrier Reef, staying at Oshen Holiday Apartments and followed by a day trip to Great Keppel Island.

In Brisbane the group dined at Aloria and stayed at Avani Living Queens Wharf Residences. Agents returned home on the new Jetstar A321neo LR aircraft from BNE to AKL.
