Some of this year’s signature festival experiences are The Plantation Feast (22 August at Carnarvon) set within a working mango plantation, Fireside Yarns: Land, Sea & Story (26 August at Gwoonwardu Mia) – an evening under the stars where food, culture and storytelling come together; Whalebone Hoe-Down (29 August in Exmouth), and the Bullara Station Feast, 5 September.
Australia’s Last Sunset, 6 September on Dirk Hartog Island, is a finale event at the edge of the continent, where guests gather on one of Australia’s most remote islands to witness the sunset sink into the Indian Ocean before an evening of food and storytelling beneath the stars.
