Explore unknown Asia

Adventure World Travel (AWT) has released its 2019-20 Asia portfolio, which includes responsible wildlife options and and opportunities to discover the lesser explored areas in China and Cambodia.

AWT has also re-introduced tailor-made Mongolia with Handpicked Mongolia going off the beaten path. Travellers stay overnight at a ger camp near Lake Hovsgol, horse trek through forested peaks of the Khoridal Saridag Mountain and hike through Yol Valley National Park. Included in the collection are itineraries where travellers can spend time with tribal communities in Malaysia, sail the undeveloped islands of Myanmar’s southeast coast and explore Komodo. New for 2019 is the Eastern Cambodia Explorer heading to lesser-visited parts of Cambodia.

At the Elephant Valley Project, travellers observe semi-wild elephants in the reserve and learn about the work involved in keeping the sanctuary running. On the 12-day Wild Side of China, travellers get close to pandas at research bases and also see endangered golden snub-nose monkeys at the Golden Monkey Nature Reserve. As a partner with World Animal Protection, AWT adheres to a policy of no elephant rides in any of its programmes and in partnership with The TreadRight Foundation and Wildlife SOS, the brand is supporting the development of an Elephant Conservation and Care Centre in Mathura, Uttar, India.
