Promoting active holidays among a plethora of options is one objective of a Tourism Sri Lanks roadshow taking place in New Zealand this week.

Organiser Aka Samara says the roadshow attracted 32 Sri Lankan suppliers to Christchurch last night to network with 45 local agents and also media and VIPs. The roadshow moves to Auckland this evening where 40 suppliers will present their wares to some 65 members of the trade.

‘Sri Lanka is a destination that offers heritage, beaches, mountains, culture, religious sites and food. For a market like New Zealand, which can be adventurous, it also offers fantastic surfing and hiking.’
