‘We know that a stopover in Taiwan, even for one night will help open people’s eyes to what is available there,’ says Paul Shih, Singapore-based director of Taiwan Tourism Administration. ‘That will then encourage them to return and spend more time.’
Various stop-over and transit options as well as long stay opportunities were presented by China Airlines, Air New Zealand and EVA Airways at the roadshow.
