Lucky with the weather, the group experienced scenery, historical monuments and cultural attractions on an intensive itinerary from China Travel Service.
Hosted by Grace Yang from Air New Zealand, Jenny Yan from Air China, and Baker Gu from China Travel Service, the group incorporated hotel inspections, sightseeing and shopping into the itinerary as well as seeing iconic sights such as the Forbidden Palace and Great Wall in Beijing and the Bund in Shanghai.
This was an opportunity to take advantage of the new visa-free policy for NZ passport holders and to build stronger relationships with the suppliers, while broadening the knowledge and understanding of the tourist experience of travelling in China.
