The houseboats float along the wildlife-rich waters of the Chobe River, the border of Botswana and Namibia. With just four or five cabins accommodating up to 10 guests, they are perfect for both small groups and individual travellers.
Highlights of the refurbishments include updates to the décor and furnishings in both cabins and communal spaces. Each Chobe Princess now boasts a top viewing deck.
A four-day, three-night river safari aboard Chobe Princess is priced from $2,680 per person (share twin) which includes all meals, local beer and wine, airport transfers, bird and game viewing, a local village visit, catch-and-release fishing, a water-based photographic safari, and a community development levy. Departures are Fridays, year-round.
