Anaheim greets trade to 2019 Featured

 

Visit Anaheim combined welcome to 2019 cocktails with a chance to promote its ‘Uncommon Character’ branding and its role as host of the premier US based travel trade show this year.

 

 

Pip Ashford, New Zealand representative for Visit Anaheim, says it is likely that a half dozen NZ wholesalers and a similar number of media will attend IPW in Anaheim in June. ‘We are hoping for a strong contingent from New Zealand and we know that we already have 1000 USA exhibitors.’ Ashford says Anaheim’s new brand reflects its appeal beyond th well known theme parks. 'We are really focusing on food and beverage, things like craft breweries. There is plenty to do for young and old.’ The evening included a demonstration of cocktail mixing (anyone for an Anaheita?) as well as the selection of craft beers and cider (and finger food) the Good George Craft House at Mission Bay is known for.
