Suppliers need to be careful not to price themselves out of the market when they consider rates for next year and beyond, says Eve Lawrence, general manager of Haka Tours ‘An Intrepid Company’.

Lawrence says she is excited about the season ahead but is sounding a note of caution.

Intrepid Travel has secured a majority share in Haka Tours and ANZ Nature Tours. The two brands offer a range of tourism experiences for both the local and international markets.

The acquisition bolsters Intrepid's operational capability in New Zealand and allows it to leverage its global distribution capability to scale rapidly as local travel, as well as international tourism, recovers.
