Willson says Aeronology, with its direct connectivity to NDC content, is particularly exciting. The cruise platform, Odysseus, has been in market a little longer but its potential has been shadowed by the pandemic.
‘We have developed live sessions for both of these platforms and we are inviting agents and brokers to come and see what we’ve got. Any communication is obviously strictly confidential. You really do have to see these systems in action to appreciate what they bring to the table.’
Willson says FTG is well positioned in other ways, offering the YOU Travel retail brand, including supporting brokers attached to those stores, the Independent agent model, and the Independent Travel Advisors Broker brand. ‘We’ve got a low cost, low overhead model with maximum return paid back to agents. We believe that is even more attractive in this challenging environment.’
