Inbound trade: Central North Island wants you

Inbound trade: Central North Island wants you

Over 100 tourism product suppliers from the Central North Island will be promoting their wares during eXplore 2018 at Eden Park on 17 April – including 35 operators exhibiting at the annual event for the first time.

Hadley Dryden, chairperson of eXplore Central North Island, says the event will be the biggest yet and will be a mix of quality known tourism experiences and accommodation providers, and a number of new products that

are ready to work with trade.

Inbound tour operators, tourism wholesalers and other trade buyers are welcome to attend and the event also typically attracts representatives from industry partners such as Tourism NZ and travel and tourism media.

Staff from i-Sites are also among the regular visitors.

‘This is a great opportunity for buyers to update product knowledge to suit their markets and customers. They can not only catch up with existing suppliers – some of whom they may never have met before – but also connect with several new suppliers as well.

‘We also pull out some warm Central North Island hospitality and a few prizes too.’

Explore Central North Island is a marketing collective of eight regions who work together to promote their experiences to the trade.

They are the Coromandel, Bay of Plenty, Tairawhiti-Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Ruapehu, Great Lake Taupo, Rotorua and Hamilton and Waikato regions.
