The cruise is aboard the pretty eight passenger vessel Anjodi, made popular by Rick Stein’s TV series ‘French Odyssey’. Built three centuries ago, the Canal du Midi skirts the shores of the Mediterranean before turning inland. It connects ancient villages with arched bridges, Roman fortifications and famous vineyards. Passengers can walk or cycle along towpaths and visit Carcassonne, the most complete medieval walled city left in Europe. Bookings deposited by 18 February 2019 will save 20% on cabin rates on the 7 or 14 April and 12 May departures; or save 20% on a full charter of the 31 March and 28 April departures (subject to availability).
