NZ: AKL to EWR launch party Featured

Air New Zealand yesterday released its long term economy, premium economy and Business Premier fares to New York, but held its official launch to the trade the night before.

‘This city pair has been highly anticipated, probably even more than the Auckland – Invercargill city pair,’ quipped Cam Wallace, Air New Zealand’s chief revenue officer. Air New Zealand will fly to Newark (Star Alliance partner United Airlines’ hub) three times a week from October 2020. Wallace says the airline expects the premium cabins to be extremely on the route – the carrier’s longest. ‘It’s 17 and a half hours on the way home – plenty of time to have a drink, something to eat and watch nine movies,’ says Wallace.
